On our last day in Escondido we
went once again to Disneyland, coupled with Universal Studios. That turned out to be a big day and night,
made even bigger by not being able to get onto our road, Lawrence Welk Drive,
at Escondido because of a shooting. We
went a different way, and found out the next day that a policeman had been
wounded and his assailant shot dead.
Just another day in the US, and not a lot different in Australasia these
days.
