The next day we continued our
journey, skirting LA and arriving in Escondido, near san Diego, late in the
afternoon. We had a Timeshare unit
booked there and it turned out to be the ultimate in luxury – not bad for $100
a week. There were five swimming pools
and gyms, a Broadway theatre and mini shopping centre, and all of the units
opened onto the golf course. We could
quite happily have just stayed at the resort, but there were things to do and
places to visit – who know when we’d be back? (When Chelsea realises she didn’t
come.)
